Treatments
Nonsteroidal Anti Inflammatory drugs Modern Medicine

The injured knee needs immediate treatment. Icing, splinting and elevating the joint above the heart level may immediately prevent the inflammation of the knee joint. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may be given to reduce the pain of the joint. Physio therapy may be suggested to the patient to regain muscle strength and motion. For more severe cases knee arthroscopy or open surgical reconstruction of the knees may be suggested
