If a person suffers from severe bunions that has resulted in severe deformity or pain, then bunion surgery is recommended. The surgery helps in realigning the toes and removing the bony bumps. The surgery shows effective results. However, surgery is the last resort; steps are taken to treat the condition by following conservative methods. |

The bunion is easy to treat especially if a person seeks treatment at an early stage. Primarily, taking good care of the feet and wearing wide-toed shoes are two ways that prevent the need of taking any further treatment. The doctor may recommend wearing foam or flat pads on the foot for protecting the bunion or using spacers in order to separate the two toes in night. |
