Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing spondylitis is one of the types of arthritis of the spine. This disease leads to swelling of your vertebrates. The swelling is also seen in the joints of the spine and pelvis. This is a kind of autoimmune disease and is commonly found to infect men. In critical cases the bones of the spine may fuse together lead to formation of a forward stooped like posture called kyphosis.

The patient suffering from ankylosing spondylitis may experience the following symptoms:-
- The early symptoms are back pain.
- The back may become stiff.
- The vertebrate gets fused and leads to limiting movement.
- The patient may often complain of inflammation in the shoulders, heels, ribs, hips, etc.
- The patient may also complain of pain in the feet, hands, small joints etc.
